MATERNITY AND THE NEWBORN

The Royal
Society of Medicine

A FORUM OF THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF MEDICINE

A forum for the presentation and discussion of issues at the forefront of pregnancy, birth, and care of the newborn.

Meetings throughout the annual session in varying formats - evening, half or whole day, some held jointly with other Sections of the Society. They are attended by members and guests typically including midwives, GPs, obstetricians, physiotherapists, psychologists, psychoanalysts, health visitors, paediatricians, neonatal nurses, members of organisations such as the NCT and AIMS, lay people - and others. A high priority is given to discussion.
